The TSM Golf Review Team was at the magnificent Celebration Golf Club, Saturday, January 7, 2006. Rich Gonzalez, Joe Tedesco, Nick Nawrocki, and Cristen Child were at it again on this beautiful Central Florida day. Celebration Golf Club is located in the picturesque community of Celebration, Florida, which is located just outside the vacation capital of the world, Orlando, Florida. The course is approximately 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport, and there is easy access to the course from Interstate 4.

| Celebration Golf Course was designed by the world famous father-son duo of Robert Trent Jones Sr., and Jr. The course opened for public play n 1996. The course represents a genuine challenge for all level of players, as some of the holes are very tight, some have some wide fairways, some with big luscious greens, and some with very small greens. |

Celebration Golf Course has a 10,500 square
foot clubhouse, featuring its signature Windmill Tavern, along with banquet
facilities, locker rooms and showers. It
also contains a very well equipped pro shop, that also rents clubs, and the
staff is available for private and group lessons.
Celebration has 5 sets of tees to suit any players level. The black tees measure 6,792 yards, the gold (which we played) are 6,257 yards, the silver are 5,724 yards, the white are 4,933 yards, and the green are 2,220 yards. This is a championship par 72 course. |

| We commenced our round on the par 4, 336 yards, dog left, Number One hole, which is the number 11 handicap hole on the course. The greens were finely etched to our complete
satisfaction, the rough areas were very playable, and finding our miss
directed balls was quite easy.
I should mention that there is water on 16 of the 18 holes, with plenty of elevation changes, which is so uncommon for Florida. As we moved through the course, we approached the stunning number 1 handicap hole, Number 7, a par 4, 407 yard, wide open fairway. The secret to this hole is to stay away from the 6 perfectly strategically placed bunkers, which seemed to gobble up our best shots. This hole is definitely worth the price of admission.

The back nine holes seemed tougher, with more dog legs, and heavier shrubs, trees and other vegetation. One of our favorite holes was the par 4, 420 yard, Number 7. This is a dog right, with water skirting the right side of the fairway, bunkers on the left side, and trees on the left that trail all the way to the green. We played this hole very strategically, with no wild swings, our goal was to keep it dry, and in the fairway. Did I mention that was our goal? |

Overall, we had a very enjoyable day, the staff was terrific, and they made sure our outing was successful.
